I.R.A. Istituto Ricerche Applicate Srl, founded in 1983 by university professors and scientific researchers, thanks to high competence skills, dynamism and innovative ability, was able, in a short period of time, to join successfully in the overview of cosmetic and pharmaceutical research.

The use of vanguard technologies enables I.R.A. Istituto Ricerche Applicate Srl to provide its customers with a service of high qualitative level:

• New functional substances of biotechnological and vegetable derivation and systems of delivery of active principles, such as: Liposystem Complex®, Cyclosystem Complex® and Hyalu Cage System®.
• Setting up of chemical and microbiological analytic methods.

Products & Production
Raw materials and active principles spread with phospholipids and cyclodextrins: Liposystem complex® and Cyclosystem complex®.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as a controlled and slow-release of active ingredients: Hyalu Cage System®. Standard vegetal hydro glycolic or oily extracts: Herby Line.
Enzymes with high cosmetic functionality of biotechnological origin not GMO: Zymo line.

The production takes place according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The efficacy and quality of the products are verified respecting the VII amendment of the directive 76/768 CE.
I.R.A. Istituto Ricerche Applicate is specialized in the production of the following types of finished cosmetics:

  With the preparation of
• bulk (emulsions, serums, gel, bath foams, shampoos, lotions)

Technologies & Services
Thanks to its modern and sophisticated equipments, in the respect of specific protocols of Quality Control corresponding to national and international standards, I.R.A is able to carry out analysis in the following fields:

• Microbiology: Analysis on raw materials and finished products, test of effectiveness and reliability of the preserving systems.
• Biochemistry: Evaluation of the functional, biological and toxic activity of various substances, without animal testing.
• Chemistry: Characterization of substances of different nature by means of spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques; SPF in vitro of solar products, according to the severest Australian laws. Drawing up of cosmetic dossiers according to the EC Regulation n. 1223/2009.
