ACTION:

Hyaluronic acid promotes the viscoelastic properties of the synovial fluid. In degenerative joint pathologies such as chronic primary osteoarthritis, synovial fluid has a reduced viscosity, decreasing the joint’s shock absorption ability and lubrication. Intra-articular injections promote, through the natural ability of hyaluronic acid molecules’ to bind to a quantity of water that is many times higher than their weight, the restoration of the natural lubrication of synovial fluid. As a result, overall mobility and joint function are improved reducing mechanical joint overload and painful syntoms.

DIRECTIONS:

Intra-articular treatment for pain and/or reduced mobility due to traumatic or degenerative deformities of the knee or synovial joints.

PROTOCOLS OF USE:

Intra-articular injections must be performed using a spinal needle ranging between 18G and 21G. Use a needle of a suitable length for treating the joint. The intra-articular infiltration must be performed solely by qualified medical personnel. Take all the normal precautions for intra-articular injections. This product must be used with caution in the event of lymphatic or venous stasis in the leg to be treated. In the event of joint effusion, we recommend its reduction through aspiration, rest, and application of an ice pack. In this instance, we recommend starting the treatment 2 or 3 days later.
